An effort I made

I guess I have let it rot for too long, and it is time to give some life to it before decomposition is to be taken place. Like I have always asked, "How is everyone doing?"

The most happening thing that happened to me just recently was, I was poisoned. Yes, food poisoning. That explains all the reasons for being 'MIA' in MSN, Facebook and... right here.

Spending the most utter 'awesome' moment at home for a wholesome week would definitely barely keep my mind from being sane. Flu bug has not been eliminated entirely since. It just refused to bug off! Grew sympathetic feelings for my poor nose and... the future world. It almost teared, and I killed trees for mass usage of boxes of tissues!

As most of us thought it is Sunday night, it was actually yesterday night. Before heading to the airport, I met Jazz at the Hougang Interchange first. The journey was amazing fast, that I made it on time (:

After which, we caught up with QingSheng at bus 136 to Chomp Chomp. As usual, TongLin was already there waiting for us.

The food centre was really crowded! Everyone was eyeing for seats. Before I was on the verge to give up on a lookout for it, there were empty seats offered by a group of people right in front of me.

To being a standard kia-su soh in action, I walked at my ultra-speed and 'chopped' the seats by laying my ass without a second thought. I knew that there was a group of people who was feeling pissed off because WE were eyeing for the same seats at the same time.

But too bad, I was too fast for it. Haha! So I acted like as if I knew nothing and called out for the guys. The food was heavenly delicious and... expensive too. But nevermind, good things worth for its price.

By the time we leave Toa Payoh, it was already left the last train. Selig, Jazz and I waited for TongLin and thought we were going to flag a cab at anytime. But he made it on time!

Oh well, we were not that lucky when we reached Tenah Merah. We missed the last bus at exactly for 2 minutes late! Flagging a cab was indeed inevitable.

I love the feelings for being at the airport at such timing. It never fails to feel good. PeiSheng, ShiMin and the rest pigged-out at the Popeyes, and I had been hesitating if I should buy the set meal. In the end, I rest with a regular mashed. Could you imagine that Jazz and I had caught a good deal? We ordered 2 regular mashed for only a dollar each!

Yea, we did that apparently by luck. The manager was too tired that he typed wrongly and grumbled to himself and offered us the 50% discount! Initially, Jazz and I were still confused as if we could not believe our eyes of what was happening.

While waiting for Becca, Bryan and Lindy, we slacked around at the departure viewing hall. Indeed a great place to sleep. Selig was sleeping, the rest were playing card games and ShiMin was helping me to tie my hair! And I swear that I was lucky enough that my hair is still in good condition right now.

When the rest had reached, we met them at the checking in counter. It was full of 'Blues'. Yes, those who were going, were wearing blue.

You know, I felt a little upset that I was unable to go due to some reasons, that my friends were leaving the country soon. Parting is always unbearable to me. I remember that I cried when one of my friends went for overseas studies at US when I was in Secondary 4.

Maybe because they were the reason that kept me awake for the entire night. Because usually I would feel sleepy at 2 a.m. plus if I am ever outside. Surprisingly, I did not even feel a single tinge of tiredness.

When it was time for them to get in, there were thousands of 不舍得 to let them go. I pray hard that they will be there and back here safe and sound. I do not have much worries about the rest except ShiMin.

She had been telling us that she could predict that she might die over there because of not able to adapt to the country. Haha! I took away her key-chain voodoo back with me, and so she will be back safe and take it back from me.

I miss you people already! Quick come back home in a week time!
